CREWE Oddies Club Open League Premier Division leaders West End LMR B’s 6-2 defeat of Nantwich Road ASLEF put them four points clear of Pioneers A.

LMR B duo Shaun Wilkinson and Danny Ayres bagged a brace of 17 darters each, with Ayres also on the mark with a 180.

Aaron Ayres and Dave Bickerton checked out on 116 and 104 respectively, then Bickerton teamed up with Aaron’s big brother Danny in a 33 darts pairs win that sealed his team’s victory.

Craig Sharples impressed as Cosey Club closed the gap on Pioneers A.

He hit an 18-dart leg, while Bobby Baynham and Dave Wood hit 19 darters, as Cosey whitewashed bottom-placed Hop Pole A.

Other top arrows came from Farmers A's Clive Lucking, who won in 15 and 19 darts and also hit a 180.

Tony Richardson won with a brace of 16 darters as Pioneers were 5-3 victors at Kings Arms A.

Dave Coyne, from Oddies, was successful in 16 and 20 darts and also bombed a maximum.

Mark Tirrell (Pioneers A) hit respective 17 and 18 dart legs, John Cooper (Pioneers A) fired an 18/19 dart win and Cosey pair Bobby Baynham and Dave Wood hit 19 darters.

Gary Cooper (Pioneers A) hit a 114 finish, while Vine A’s Ken Cliffe won with a 115 kill. Jules Wilde (Cosey), Simon Phillips (Horse Shoe) and Mick Hassall (Vine A) were also maximum men.

Division One's top two met the bottom two with differing degrees of success.

Leaders Willaston Club boosted their average to 6.2 per match by whitewashing bottom team Brunel Arms A to move 11 points clear of Broughton Arms,.

They struggled to contain next to bottom Nantwich Road A, who pinned them to a draw with a last game pairs win from Rob Challinor and Tracey Heeps.

Third-placed Cheshire Cheese walloped hosts White Lion 6-2 to close in on the Broughton.

Fred Smart won the opener for Pioneers Club B, then all went downhill rapidly as visitors Crown stormed to a 7-1 victory.

Stuart Gilligan (Broughton) won with 15 and 16 darters and Amals A’s sole winner Mark Woolrich in 17 and 19 darts.

Paul Blythe (Willaston) fired a 17 darter and a 108 checkout, then teamed up with Rob Paine in a 36 dart pairs win that completed Willaston Club’s whitewash.

Mick Jones (Amals B) hit an 18 dart leg and Craig Smith (Cheese) and Buster Edwards (Crown) 19 darters.

Ron Threadgold (Amals A) and Paul Jones (Amals B) fired respective 122 and 131 checkouts and Daz Cooper (Crown) a 180.

Division Two toppers Brunel Arms B forfeited their 100 per cent win record when they were held by visitors Flying Lady A.

Main challengers Rising Sun A reduced their points deficit to seven with a 6-2 defeat of Woodside, with third place Hawk now only two points behind them after they whitewashed bottom placed visitors Sydney Arms.

Colin Spencer (Brunel Arms B) included a 180 in his 17 dart leg, Tommy Clarke (Bridge C) checked an 18 darter out on 105, while Gary Payne (Lady A), Chris Spencer (Bridge C), Mark Broomhall (Woodside) and Neil Robbins (Sun) all fired 180’s.

Division Three leaders Raven had their lead halved to two after forfeiting a 3-0 lead in an eventual draw at Nags Head B.

Main challengers Swan & Chequers won 6-2 at White Lion to open up a ten points gap over Coppenhall Club, beaten 5-2 at fourth placed Vine B.

Mick Cope (Swan) and Barrie Collins (Coppenhall Club) hit respective 17 and 18 darters and maximum 180s were registered by Fran Whelan (Lady B) and Patrick Brennan (Swan).

Division Four pacemakers Nags Head A scrambled a draw with bottom team Eight Farmers B and had their lead trimmed to four points by Dishers Club A who beat their B team 6-2.

Third placed Duke of Bridgewater C were beaten 5-3 by fourth placed visitors Bridge D and trail by nine points, but have a match in hand.

Simon Cope (Dishers A) bombed a 115 checkout in the pairs and Sean Morrey (Nag A) hit a 20 darter.
