JAMIE Harrison achieved a fine set of results at Oulton Park over Easter, finishing third overall.

The Crewe rider raced his 1,000cc Honda in the No Limits Cup 1000 Championship races.

On the Saturday, qualifying saw him gain third place on the starting grid out of 40 starters and in the first race he turned that into a second place by the chequered flag.

For the second race, starting from third again, he was in the lead by the first corner, but then some tussling for places saw him up and down the race positions.

At one stage he was back to fifth after a minor braking error, but he recovered such that he crossed the finish line in second place just a metre ahead (0.03 seconds) of the following bike.

In Sunday’s race, starting from fourth on the grid, and after much place swapping during the race itself he came home third overall.
