NANTWICH hockey player William Weir has been selected to represent Great Britain in the upcoming Olympic Games.
The 26-year-old will form part of the 16-man squad that competes for Team GB in Rio.
The men’s hockey side narrowly missed out on a medal at the London Olympics in 2012 as they came fourth behind champions Germany, the Netherlands and Australia.
