Nantwich Town 2 Barwell 2
MATT Bell’s late equaliser saved Nantwich from defeat on Saturday as they shared the points with Barwell at Weaver Stadium.
Despite starting the brighter, Nantwich fell behind when Callum Ball tapped home from close range midway through the first half.
Josh Hancock, Wayne Riley and Osebi Abadaki all went close for the hosts before a superb effort from Andy White sent them into half time on level terms.
Hancock and Joel Stair both missed good opportunities before Barwell snatched the lead again just before the hour mark when a free-kick wasn’t dealt with and Brady Hickey was on hand to fire home.
However, The Dabbers equalised again when Bell slammed home the rebound after Sean Cooke’s effort was saved with five minutes left.
