CREWE’S David Jones showed good car control in wet weather to complete his first race of the season at Oulton Park.
The opening CNC Heads Sports/Saloon Championship race took place in poor conditions and Jones started the race in 14th position.
With some of the leading drivers not finishing at all, Jones was able to keep his two-litre Ford Focus Mk1 on the track and even gain a place on the final lap to finish 13th.
