THE latest action from the Crewe Oddies Club Open League.

DARTS Premier Division top two W/End LMR B and Coppenhall B gained 6-2 victories over Eight Farmers A and promoted Broughton Arms respectively to remain separated by three points.

The drawn clash of Cosey and Willaston Club’s lifted the pair to joint third place with identical records.

Oddies pair Tony Probin and Dave Coyne hit respective 129 and 109 checkouts to help their team go 3-1 up, but a spirited response from Vine A saw them win three of the last four games to force a draw.

The top two in Division One met, with a 3-1 win by leaders Express over Kings Arms retaining their 100% win record and putting them four points clear of new challengers Raven, who beat Bridge A 6-2. Kings drop to third, a further three points adrift.

In Division Two, Swan & Chequers are now sole leaders after beating bottom side Rising Sun 5-3, with Nags Head A now three points back after losing 6-2 to Hawk, who consequently move up to third, two points behind the Nag.

Division Three pacemakers West End Band A top scored, seeing off bottom-placed neighbours Brunel Arms C 6-2 to move three points clear of Alberts Corner, who beat Sydney Arms 5-3 and Vine B who were held to a draw by Flying Lady B.

Division Four leaders Foresters Arms A had a bye week, but emerged four points clear of Junction, who were beaten 5-3 at Dishers Club A.

Oddies and Vine A, the top two in the dominoes Premier Division, met with the Oddies’ 6-2 victory taking them two points clear of new challengers Cheshire Cheese, who beat Amalgamated B 6-2, with Vine A demoted to third a further point behind.

Division One leaders Bridge A walloped promoted Raven 7-1 to extend their lead to over Kings Arms, beaten 5-3 by Express, to five points. Third-placed Hop Pole A suffered a similar fate at the hands of Nantwich Road Club.

Nags Head A extended their lead at the top of Division Two with a 6-2 win over Hawk. This means they now head Coppenhall Club A by four points after Coppenhall could not match Dishers Club B’s initial 3-1 winning start, so forfeited their 100% record in the resultant draw.

Division Three is the most keenly contested, with the top six covered by as many points. Sydney Arms won 5-3 at Alberts to take over at the top from Brunel Arms B, whose draw at fourth-placed White Lion puts them second with Nags Head B, 6-2 winners at Duke of Bridgewater C.

Division Four leaders Coach & Horses extended their lead to five points after walloping Eight Farmers B 7-1, with Dishers Club A, now the only 100% outfit, a further five points ahead of Foresters Arms A, who had a bye.
