NANTWICH Town have announced Dave Cooke as their new manager.
Cooke takes over the role from Phil Parkinson, who left the Weaver Stadium to take over at fellow Evo-Stik Premier Division side Altrincham.
Cooke previously managed Northwich Victoria in the National League and also had a spell as assistant manager at Shrewsbury Town.
“I am pleased Dave has accepted the role of Manager. He has put together a very strong local team which I believe will give us the continuity we were looking for,” Dabbers chairman Tony Dobson said.
“We were very keen to build on the success of the past two years and I firmly believe that this new team will do just that.”
Current player Steve Jones and former Dabber Danny Griggs will both serve as Cooke’s assistants, while Nigel Deeley has been appointed as a coach.
