Nantwich Town 1 Hednesford Town 5
DESPITE leading at half-time, Nantwich collapsed to a heavy defeat at home to Hednesford on Saturday.
The Dabbers controlled the first half, but they were set to go unrewarded until Steve Jones was dragged down inside the box three minutes before the interval.
The referee awarded a penalty and Harry Clayton stepped up to convert his third goal in as many games.
Clayton's strike ensured the hosts led at the break, but 10 minutes after the restart it all started to unravel.
James Lawrie equalised for the Pitmen and Callum Mendez-Jones gave them the lead three minutes later.
Lawrie doubled his tally in the 74th minute to give Hednesford breathing space before late strikes from Thomas Torley and Daniel Glover completed Nantwich's misery.
The Dabbers travel to Halesowen Town on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
