CREWE FC will bid to return to winning ways at Eagle Sports on Saturday.

A 3-1 loss at Linotype Cheadle HN at the weekend was the side's fourth game without a win - all in the space of 11 days and coming on the back of a cup final success.

Crewe overhauled Crewe Athletic to win the Crewe and District League Sunday Challenge Cup on April 15, which came a day after FC's last Cheshire League win 3-2 against Denton Town.

The majority of clubs are having to cram in fixtures after a winter of postponements.

A 3-3 draw with Altrincham Reserves on April 17 was followed by a 1-0 loss at Poynton on April 21.

The return clash with Altrincham Reserves on April 25 ended 4-4.

An absence of league wins over the period leaves Crewe FC in seventh place with five games remaining.
