Kettle’s 84 helps Dabbers’ quick recovery

CHAMPIONS Nantwich recovered their form after losing a RedInsure T20 at Grappenhall the previous evening when they trounced Chester Boughton Hall at Whitehouse Lane.

Opener Jonny Kettle, who played for Leicestershire against Lancashire in a 2nd XI match last week, top-scored with 84 against Ian Linwood, 5-56.

Mark Robinson’s innings of 43 was the only redeeming feature as CBH were bowled out for 128, Jimmy Warrington 5-40.

The previous day Nantwich lost to Grappenhall by seven wickets.

Nantwich scored 110 (19 overs) with J. Warrington 25.

Grappenhall reached 112-3 off 16.2 overs in reply.
