CREWE Open League’s Premier Division dominoes leaders Imperial held on to top spot despite a draw at Commercial.

They are joined on equal points by Express A, who leap-frogged Hop Pole with a 5-3 victory in a closely contested division where the top seven teams are covered by only four points.

Express B increased their lead to five points at the top of Division One after a 5-3 success at Amalgamated A, while Foresters A retain second place despite a 5-3 defeat at Flying Lady A.

Broughton’s 6-2 victory over Bridge C sees them move into joint second.

The top two in Division Two, Kings A and Bridge A, clashed with the Bridge A winning 5-3 to leave the Kings A in the top spot with a reduced lead of two points.

Mals B’s 5-3 success against the Mals Nomads allows them to remain a point behind on third, with the Nomads falling from fourth to fifth.

Division Three's leaders Coppenhall Club suffered a 6-2 defeat at the hands of third-placed Liberal, leaving them with a reduced advantage of two points after second-placed White Lion F/Lane B won 5-3 against Pioneers B.

Sydney Arms' 6-2 defeat of Flying Lady B leaves them in fourth with only four points covering the top four teams.

Cumberland C’s 7-1 thrashing of Dishers A sees them go level on points with leaders Kings B, after they were held to a draw by Waldron B, who move into third.

In Division Five, top two White Lion Copp A and Cumberland A both had 5-3 victories over respective opponents Rileys B and Swan and Chequers, leaving positions unchanged with White Lion leading by three points.

Brunel B lift themselves off the bottom with a 6-2 victory over Brunel C, who remain in second place two points behind leader Rising Sun B.
