THE top two in Crewe Open League's Premier Division Dominoes, Hope Pole A and Pioneers Club A, both gained 5-3 wins over West End LMR B and Commercial to leave their position unchanged.
Both teams were helped by the drawn clash of main rivals Vine A and Earl of Chester, in which the Earl let slip a 4-1 advantage.
Division One sees Imperial taking sole charge of top spot after their 6-2 win at Cheshire Cheese, with Express, who beat Horse Shoe 5-3, a point behind and two points clear of Broughton Arms, beaten 5-3 at Amalgamated A.
Division Two toppers Amalgamated B lost their 100% record when beaten 5-3 at Foresters Arms A, but as main rivals Hawks also lost 6-2 to third-placed Bridge A, they remain a point ahead in a very close section.
Division Three's joint leaders are Prince of Wales C and Rising Sun after their 5-3 victories at Coppenhall Leighton and Vine C, in which the Prince overturned a 3-0 deficit and the Sun let slip a 3-1 advantage.
Liberal Club are on the same points mark as the top two after a 6-2 win at Dishers Club B, but are third on matches won in another very competitive section.
Division Four pacemakers Waldron B won 5-3 at White Lion to keep five points ahead of Prince of Wales D, who beat Flying Lady C.
Coach and Horses and Cumberland C are a point further back after 6-2 wins over Kings Arms B and Dishers Club A.
