Pioneers defeat Flying Lady A

JUST two 100 percent records remain in the Darts Divisions of the Crewe Open League, one of which was emphatically maintained when the Premier Division's toppers Pioneers Club A dumped visitors Flying Lady A into bottom place with an 8-0 hammering.
Up to second come West End LMR B, who hit second-bottom Earl of Chester for six and are six points behind the leaders with a match in hand.
Top performer was Patrick Lynskey (LMR B) with a 14-dart leg, closely followed by Pioneers A pair John Speed and John Cooper, who both threw 15 darters, the latter adding this season's best checkout of 160.
Division One leaders Nantwich Road A were held 4-4 by Cheshire Cheese, meaning main challengers Imperial and Kings Arms A move closer after 6-2 wins over bottom pair Woodside and Horse Shoe.
Ben Fletcher (Nant Road A) and Tony Probin (Imperial) hit 17 dart legs, Craig Smith (Cheese) and Paul Wright (Bridge C) 18 darters, with Paul including a 180 in his Division Two pacemakers Duke of Bridgewater A put Foresters Arms A into bottom place after hammering them 8-0 to extend their points lead to four over White Lion Ford Lane B, who were 5-3 winners at Bridge A.
Mark Tirrell (White Lion A) hit an 18-dart leg, Gary Shaw (Foresters A) a 19 darter, Hawk pair Mick Shea and Dave Arrowsmith threw 20 darters and Craig Simpson (Duke A) a 100 finish.
Division Three's top four all had big wins, with 100 percent leaders Prince C walloping Dishers B 7-1 to move three points ahead of their E team, who also hit seven at Liberal Club.
Rising Sun drop a place to third despite a 6-2 win over Coppenhall Club, while Coppenhall Ltn hold fourth after their victims Vine C became the section's third 7-1 losers. Dave Evanson (Prince E) won in 13 and 20 darts, with solid backup coming from teammates Adam Perkiss and brothers Jay and Rob Paine with 20 dart legs, Rob including a 180 in his.
Division Four leaders Captain Webb won 5-3 at Waldron B to go two points clear of Kings Arms B, who let slip a 3-0 lead in their draw with White Lion Coppenhall.
Third and fourth-placed Coach and Horses and Cumberland C remain in situ after their drawn clash.
Gareth Wood (Kings B) ended a 15 darter with a ton finish and then teamed up with Tony Taylor in a 25-dart pairs win.
Division Five's pacemakers Brunel Arms A beat Rileys Club B 6-2 and are now six points ahead of new challengers Oddfellows Club, who also won 6-2 at Nags Head Division Six is led by Nantwich Road B, who had a bye but still lead by six points from Foresters Arms B, who replace Hop Pole B in second place after beating them 6-2.
