CREWE Liberal Club Open League Premier Division Darts leaders W/End LMR B thumped bottom team Nantwich Road A 7-1 to move two points ahead of Pioneers Club A.
Pi’s skipper Pete Boughey won in 15 and 19 darts and hit a ton finish, but the Champs still found themselves 3-1 down to bogey team Commercial, until four successive game wins enabled them to win 5-3 and remain six points clear of Cosey Club, who beat Vine A 5-3.
Top marksmen was Patrick Lynskey (LMR B) with a 13 darter, superbly backed up by Dave Bickerton’s 17 dart leg and 180, Chris Gibson’s brace of 18 darters and 127 finish, Shaun Done’s 153 conclusion to an 18 darter plus a 180 from Daniel Ayres.
Bickerton and Chris Townsend completed the rout with a 30 dart pairs win at a 33.37 PDA.
Bobby Baynham (Cosey) won in 15 and 18 darts and hit a 180 and teammate Jules Wilde fired 18 and 19 darters, one ended with a 112 finish.
Lyndon Cartwright (Band C) and Paul Goodwin (Lion B) hit 18 darters, Paul ending his with a ton checkout and Aaron Ayres (Lion B) and Lee Moffat (Vine A) 19 darter, Lee including a 180 in his.
Premier Division Dominoes leaders Kings Arms A beat W/End Band C 5-3 to move five points clear of Nantwich Road A, who drew at W/End LMR B, with Commercial moving up to third spot after a 6-2 win at Pioneers Club A the latter demoted from second to fourth.
Vine A and Imperial both let slip 3-0 leads in Vine A’s 5-3 defeat at Cosey Club and the Imps draw at White Lion B.
