CREWE Alexandra have enjoyed a recent upturn in results but will face the toughest test of their newly-found form so far when heading to promotion-chasing Wolves on Boxing Day, kick off 3pm.
Alex are unbeaten in three having lost their previous four matches and Steve Davis’ men have luckily timed their trip to coincide with Wolves’ one-month dry spell.
A trip to Colchester follows just three days later on Sunday, kick off 3pm, before a New Year’s Day visit from Carlisle completes Alex’s festive fixture flurry.
The Railwaymen sit 23rd in League One, though it is tight enough at the bottom for them to escape the clutches of the relegation zone should they manage some positive results over Christmas.
