Dabbers sign up ex-pro Jake Sedgemore

NANTWICH Town have been busy signing players while still seeking a new coach.
Former professional Jake Sedgemore and Chris Flynn have joined the UniBond Football League Premier Division Club.
The Dabbers, currently inviting applications for the coaching role vacated by Steve Davis, may be looking to play versatile 30-year-old Sedgemore at right back.
However, he does have vast experience in midfield, including Football League spells with Shrewsbury and Bury, and has also played in goals.
Sedgemore, who was born in Wolverhampton and started out at West Bromwich Albion, was on loan at Burton Albion when they reached the third round of the FA Cup in 2006, taking Manchester United to a replay.
He joins the club from Solihull Moors and has also played for Kidderminster, Altrincham and Northwich Victoria.
Flynn, aged 21, is a midfielder who has moved in at The Weaver Stadium from champions Eastwood Town.
Meanwhile, The Dabbers have announced their season ticket prices for 2009/10 – and it is good news for regular fans.
The cost of a season ticket has been reduced to £135 (adults), £75 (concessions) and £20 (juniors).
However, match day prices have increased and been set at £9 (adults), £6 (concessions) and £2 (juniors).
A club statement explains the reasoning behind this, saying: “Although there is a £1 increase in gate prices for adults and concessions, the club has been keen to reward its regular supporters in the current economic climate by reducing prices for season tickets.
“With 20 home matches in the UniBond Premier Division for the coming season, an adult season ticket represents a saving of £45 on turnstile prices.”
Season tickets are available from the club shop at the Weaver Stadium every Tuesday and Friday from 10am until 2pm until the start of the season.
Payment can be made by cash or cheque.
