HAVING registered five points from a possible 12 in their opening four league games Nantwich will be looking to take maximum points from this weekend’s encounter with West Yorkshire outfit Ossett Town to avoid slipping further down the table.
Nantwich are currently in 11th place in the Uni Bond Premier Division, two places above Saturday’s opponents.
Whilst The Dabbers would have been happier with an extra goal or two from the chances they have created in those opening games, it is the defence that is the cause of some concern at the moment.
They conceded five goals in the defeat by league leaders Stocksbridge Park Steels at the weekend, although Tuesday saw them tighten up at the back in the 1-1 draw with Burscough And with Ritchie Sutton starting the first of a three game ban this weekend stand-in boss Kevin Street will once again have to shuffle the back line.
Nantwich Town will select from: Jones, Sedgemore, Shaw, Tinson, Flynn, McPherson, Jack, Carter, Blackhurst, Rhead, Lennon, Gibson, Whittaker, Mahmoud, Southern. Chapman.
