TWO victories in three days over the Bank Holiday weekend lifted Nantwich Town to fourth ahead of their trip to North Ferriby United on Saturday.
To their credit, those results were achieved without three regular players, central defender Ritchie Sutton, left back Chris Shaw and winger Omar Mahmoud.
Only Mahmoud will be back for the weekend’s game after he returned from holiday this week, while Shaw is expected to be out of action for at least a month with a broken toe.
Sutton will return from his three-match ban after the clash with seventh-placed North Ferriby and will be back in action for the Dabbers’ home game against Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday.
Assistant coach Kevin Street continues to look after the team in the absence of head coach Peter Hall, who is on holiday, chasing a fourth win in seven games so far.
Kendal Town continue to lead the way in Unibond Premier, three points ahead of the Dabbers.
