NANTWICH Town entertain Conference North high flyers Stalybridge Celtic in the first round of the FA Trophy at Weaver Stadium on Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Dabbers fans may get their first glimpse of new signing Marvin Robinson in action as the former Premiership striker was an unused substitute as Town fell 3-2 at Bradford Park Avenue in UniBond First Division North on Saturday.
Although former Derby County, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City frontman Robinson played no part in the loss, Andy Kinsey made his first appearance since returning to the club from Congleton for a third spell.
Dave Macpherson had pulled Town back on level terms five minutes after falling behind.
Jake Sedgemore bagged Nantwich’s second five minutes from time but Avenue were able to hold Town at bay in the closing minutes.
Nantwich, who are away to Cammell Laird in the quarter finals of the Cheshire Senior Cup on Tuesday, have a new date for their Challenge Cup third round home tie with Matlock, which is now set for December 22.
It was postponed on Tuesday due to a waterlogged pitch.
