NANTWICH Town look set to lose hot striker Ben Mills to Macclesfield Town.
The Dabbers received a formal offer from Macclesfield Town over the new year period.
Following further negotiations, the club has tentatively agreed a deal with Macclesfield for an undisclosed small initial fee, which would be enhanced based on appearances and any future sell ons.
"We have therefore given permission for Macclesfield to speak with Ben regarding personal terms," it says in a club statement.
"Ben is one of the leading scorers in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division with 11 goals and the club is very keen to help Ben achieve his ambitions of playing League football whilst at the same time ensuring the best interests of the club are also considered."
