NANTWICH Town will hope a thaw allows them to resume their Evo-Stik Premier Division campaign against Stocksbridge Park Steels on Saturday, kick off 3pm.

Like all other teams in the division, Dabbers' enforced winter break prevented them from playing their scheduled match with Rushall Olympic at the Weaver Stadium, so they will be keen to claim their first win of the new year when travelling to 18th placed Stocksbridge on Saturday.

They then face a more difficult task when travelling to fifth-place Marine the following Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm, as their hosts will be looking for their fourth win on the bounce in their quest for promotion.

The date for Nantwich's Cheshire Senior Cup semi final against Macclesfield Town has now been announced.

Dabbers will travel to Moss Rose on Tuesday, March 13, kick off 7.45pm, in the hope of lifting the cup for fourth time, but face far more experienced Macclesfield, who have lifted the trophy an impressive 20 times in their history.

Two of Nantwich's outstanding league fixtures have been rearranged, with the away game at Matlock Town scheduled for Saturday, March 10 and the home match against Rushall Olympic fixed for Tuesday, March 20.

Finally, Dabbers have offered a helping hand to stricken Evo-Stik Premier Division neighbours Northwich Victoria, who will be playing Saturday's home match against Bradford Park Avenue at the Weaver Stadium, kick off 3pm.
