NANTWICH Town gave themselves the best possible preparation for their forthcoming Cheshire Senior Cup final against Stalybridge Celtic with back-to-back wins against Chorley and Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.
Dabbers will first complete their league campaign on Saturday, kick off 3pm, when they travel to North Ferriby United in the final match of the regular season, and will hope to make it three on the bounce.
Nantwich Town will then take on Blue Square North outfit Stalybridge in the final of the Cheshire Senior Cup at Chester's Exacta Stadium on Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm.
Despite the gap between the two sides, Jimmy Quinn's men will fancy their chances in their current form, which saw them beat Chorley 1-0 with a Tom Unwin goal, before hammering Stocksbridge 5-1 thanks to goals from Josh Lane, two, Michael Lennon, David Macpherson and Simon Everall.
The club have also been docked a point by the Evo-Stik League for fielding an ineligable player, Brian Summerskill, against Ashton on November 5, 2011.
Luckily for the Dabbers, it will have little impact on their season because their hopes of promotion have long since faded and they remain comfortably in mid-table.
