Julia Roberts stepped out in New York to show her support for Paul Newman's Hole In The Wall camps.
The Duplicity actress joined Robert Redford in chairing the star-studded fundraiser, which featured performances by Harry Connick Jr, James Taylor, Kristin Chenoweth, Art Garfunkel and Yo-Yo Ma, and was hosted by the late film legend's widow Joanna Woodward at the Lincoln Centre.
Julia told Entertainment Tonight: "I have never done this without him beside me, so it'll be an interesting evening to navigate by myself."
She went on: "I think of him at every moment. I'm glad we're all laughing because that is Paul's whole point, of fun. We have a great line-up. It's going to be an exciting night."
Julia once worked as a counsellor in one of the 11 camps - for children with life-threatening medical conditions - and is now on the charity's board.
She said: "We're growing in leaps and bounds.
"By 2012, we will have 20 camps. It will affect hundreds and thousands of kids, and the ripple effect of families just finding a place where they are equal to everybody else, that's the whole point."
Paul Newman founded the Hole In The Wall Camps, which are across the US, in 1988. He died from cancer in 2008.
