SUPPORTING the youth of today was top of the bill when Parr Hall threw open its doors for the Mayor of Warrington's annual ball.

In keeping with the theme, youth theatre group CODYS performed a piece from Les Miserables and Warrington Youth Orchestra provided music intermittently throughout the evening.

There was also a set from the blues band Goodfellas and Pete Turner wowed the crowd with some magic tricks.
