TWO nights of soul are coming to Parr Hall in September as Frankly Aretha and Soul Legends grace the stage.

Whether you’re a ‘soul man’ or a ‘natural woman’ you are being called on to feel the heart, share the soul and live the legends when Soul Legends calls in to Warrington on September 6.

The production brings to life the hits of the likes of Barry White, George Benson, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, Wilson Pickett, Chaka Khan, Earth Wind and Fire and more.

Becki Mundy, from Parr Hall, said: “Jump aboard the soul train as it takes you on an unforgettably smooth music journey from its sixties origins to present day, via all the classic70s and 80s floor-fillers.”

Meanwhile, Frankly Aretha is a new tribute show and the tour reaches Warrington on September 20.

The show features the vocal talents of American soul singer Phinesta Taylor and her 10-piece live band who will remember and celebrate the career of the star who died in August.

Becki added: “Relive the magic and sound of Aretha Franklin, undoubtedly the queen of soul music, as you take a trip down memory lane in a tribute to one of the bestselling musical artists of all time.

“Expect smash hit songs like Think, Respect, Natural Woman, I Say a Little Prayer, Rolling in the Deep, Son of a Preacher Man and many more.”
