I WOULD like to say how very delighted I was to have attended the South Cheshire Crewe branch of the George Formby Ukulele Societies recent social evening held in the Memorial Hall, Wistaston, under the overall direction of branch founder, Brian Edge.
It was truly a great evening of musical entertainment.
Most certainly it was excellent to hear some fantastic George Formby Ukulele music – what a legend.
The branch, which was founded in 1994, continues to meet each month on the fourth Friday, at the same venue, from 7.30pm.
