HAVING attended the supposed presentation for local residents at the Oakley Centre in early September, I can only hope that the development goes forward in a more professional manner.

It was obvious at the meeting that the representatives present had very little knowledge of what was actually contained in the project, with the Bentley lady informing us that no buildings at all were to be demolished as she stood in front of a plan that clearly stated otherwise.

It was also obvious that no traffic management plan had been thought through, either for during works or for when the UTC becomes active.

We don’t need the UTC.

It’s Utter Total Chaos.
