Person rescued from house fire in Crewe
A PERSON was rescued by firefighters from a blaze at a house in Crewe last night.
Two crews from Crewe, one from Middlewich and one from Winsford were called to reports of a fire a property in Wheelman Road just after 7pm.
Crews used four breathing apparatus, a thermal image camera, three hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.
They remained on the scene for three hours.
Cheshire Fire Service said investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
