POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 49-year-old man who was reported missing from his address in Crewe.

George Richardson was last seen on February 5 and was last seen that evening in Crewe town centre at approximately 7.30pm, riding a black and red carrera mountain bike but has not been sighted since.

George is described as 5’ 3” tall, white with grey hair and of very slim build. He was last seen wearing blue trainers, blue jeans, a black coat, and a grey hat.

DS Martin Caldwell said: “I would ask anyone who may have seen someone fitting this description or who knows where George is to contact police as we are beginning to become concerned for his welfare and need to locate him.

“I would also appeal directly to George that you contact us. Your family are very worried about you and just want you to come home.”

Anyone with any information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 267 of February 6, 2018.
