WITH another heatwave forecast for this week the NHS has released important safety tips during the hot weather.
The two main risks posed by heatwaves are dehydration and overheating, which can affect people with heart problems and breathing difficulties even more.
The people most at risk during these challenging conditions are people over the age of 75, babies and young children, people with mobility problems, people with serious mental health problems, people on medication and people who misuse alcohol or drugs.
Seek help from a GP or contact NHS 111 if someone is feeling unwell and shows symptoms of: breathlessness, chest pain, confusion, intense thirst and dizziness.
Get the person somewhere cool to rest. Give them plenty of fluids to drink
