Travel time is about 50 minutes
THERE are long delays and queueing traffic due to an earlier accident involving an abnormal load and a car on the M6 northbound between junction 16 A500 (Stoke-On-Trent/Crewe) and junction 17 A534 Old Mill Road (Sandbach/Crewe).
Travel time is around 50 minutes. All lanes have been re-opened. Lane one (of three) was closed until around 7.55am. Recovery of the car has been completed just after junction 16. Lane two re-opened around 7.50am - now the abnormal load has been able to leave the scene.
