STEVE Price will be making team changes for Warrington Wolves' final Super 8s game.

Scrum-half Tyrone Roberts, who suffered a head injury in the loss to St Helens, will not feature in Friday's clash at Wakefield Trinity.

Price says Roberts wanted to return to the field on Saturday, but the club had to stick to concussion protocols.

"Tyrone won't be playing, just with the concussion protocol," he said.

"He's in really good shape and is feeling good.

"He wanted to go back out there, but with the protocol we couldn't allow it."

> Cooper named Warrington Wolves player of the year

His regular partner in the halves, Kevin Brown, is in contention though along with Bodene Thompson as they shake off abductor and rib injuries respectively.

And there is a possible return for Sitaleki Akauola after missing the last five through suspension and a sternum injury.

Ben Murdoch-Masila, who struggled with an ankle problem against Saints, is confirmed as fit to play.

"Kev's travelling really well at the moment, but we'll look at him again later on in the week when we get to the bottom of his scans.

"Murds will be ready to go this week. We'll decide on Bodene later in the week. It depends how he pulls up in training.

"Sitaleki will come into consideration."

Price also confirmed Daryl Clark and Jack Hughes will return to the line-up at the Mobile Rocket Stadium after being rested last week.

It will be the final opportunity for players to win places in the following week's play-offs semi-final against St Helens.

"Daryl Clark and Jack Hughes will come back into the team this week. It was important we freshened them up last week," he said.

"They have done a lot of dirty work for us this year and it will be great to have them back."
