WOULD-BE Santas will be saddling up for a cycling challenge, in aid of a Cheshire children’s charity.
The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) will again be benefitting from the Timperley Boneshakers Cycling Club’s annual Santa Dash Bike Ride.
Based in Millington, CAFT offers holidays and getaways for disabled, disadvantaged and terminally ill children and their families.
As well as the 14-mile family-friendly route, cyclists can opt for the more challenging 30 mile and 60 mile circular routes.
All will start and finish at Altrincham FC’s J Davidson Stadium on Sunday, November 25.
All routes will include a welcome pit stop at the charity’s Millington base where volunteers will treat the cyclists to a warming glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate and a mince pie.
Last year’s event saw 200 cycling Santas raise £5,000.
Each Santa will be asked to make a minimum £15 donation to the charity. Call Jure on 01565 830053 or email jure@caft.co.uk
