A MAN was pulled from the River Dane in the early hours of Sunday morning after becoming stuck.
Police were alerted to the incident near Memorial Court at 4.40am, and attended before calling in crews from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
A fire service spokesman said: "Crews attended and used a short extension ladder to help the person climb up the embankment to safety.
"The person was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service."
The man was taken to Leighton Hospital as a precaution.
