VICTORIAN Christmas celebrations return to the Lion Salt Works Museum next month.

The third annual festive event will include Santa himself, reindeer, steam engines, bellringing, a choir and a Christmas market between Tuesday, December 4 and Sunday, December 9.

There will also be craft session for children, with events running from noon to 7pm on Tuesday to Saturday and noon to 4pm on Sunday.

On Saturday, December 8, Father Christmas will be joined by three of his reindeer between 3pm and 7pm, available to visit for £2.

There will also be free festive story-telling in the specially-constructed ‘Story Box’ in the old manager’s office.

December 8 will see carol singers from the Rivendell Choir, followed by a Middlewich Bell Ringers performance on December 9.
