A WIDNES man is one of 22 charged with conspiracy to supply drugs following a nationwide day of raids.

In a joint operation with Devon and Cornwall Police, around 30 warrants were executed on Thursday, including 10 in Merseyside, with others carried out simultaneously in Greater Manchester, South Wales and Devon and Cornwall.

The warrants followed an extensive investigation into the trafficking of Class A and B drugs into Devon and South Wales between March 2017 and November this year.

Eight people from Merseyside and Cheshire have been charged, three in South Wales and 11 in Devon and Cornwall.

Kieran Eves, 27, of Carriage Close, Hale, is one of the men to be charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs.

Happeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday, and was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on December 7.
