NEW plans to convert a care home in Bewsey into flats have been revealed.
Bewsey House would be turned into 14 one-bedroom supported living apartments under an application for planning permission submitted to Warrington Borough Council.
The three-storey building on Bewsey Road has been vacant since the care home closed in 2016.
Applicant Mersten Ltd says the plans will create two full-time jobs.
Similar plans to convert the care home into 16 apartments were pulled by the developer in March, with Warrington Borough Council having expressed concerns over privacy for residents and the overdevelopment of the site.
These previous proposals also included a single-storey extension to the north side of the building.
A consultation on the latest plans runs until Thursday, January 3.
