CHRISTMAS crafts will be on sale at the indoor Winsford Market on Saturday.

More than 30 stalls will be offering a wide selection of unique homemade gifts from 9am to 4pm and Santa will be in his grotto.

Creative Jeanette Bate will be selling homemade real and artificial wreaths in a market for the first time.

The Winsford mum, whose business is called Precious Wreaths, said: "I have only been making wreaths for a few months. I recently passed a professional qualification in floristry and so eventually hope to also do flower arranging.

"My aim is to produce wreaths for all occasions including weddings and birthdays and they can be used indoors at parties or outside on doors.

"At the moment I am in my element as I love Christmas so making real wreaths is a real joy and they have been very popular."

Jeanette is married to Steve, who is medically retired as he has severe kyphoscoliosis. The coupld have a 15-year-old daughter.

"I have worked in communications and marketing for over 27 years but am also very arty and creative," added Jeanette.

"Most people think that wreaths are just for the festive season but actually you can have a beautiful wreath for any occasion including Halloween, birthdays, weddings and baby showers."

Jeanette will be selling wreaths in a selection of colours and with or without lights.
