A WOMAN was "pulled to the floor and struck on the head" in a town centre market assault yesterday afternoon, Monday.
Police were sent to St Mary's Market at around 12.35pm where the victim had been assaulted by a woman.
Her mobile phone was also taken after it fell from her pocket during the incident.
The victim suffered superficial injuries and declined medical attention.
The offender, who was with a small group, was described as white and aged around 25.
