POLICE were called to a property in Brecon on Saturday morning where a man had suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital.
Extra police patrols have been held in the area since the incident and inquiries continue.
A police spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police were called to a property on the Watton in Brecon at 10.15am on Saturday morning, 16th February.
"The male occupant had suffered a head injury which required him to be taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment.
"The man's condition is described as stable and officers are continuing to make inquiries as to the cause of the injury.
"Extra patrols are being conducted in the area as inquiries continue.”
