THOUSANDS of race enthusiasts enjoyed Bank Holiday sunshine at Lockinge point-to-point.
The Old Berkshire Hunt event is a key fixture on the sporting and social calendar and features six main races, with the majority three-mile courses including 18 fences.
Chairman of the organising committee David Leigh-Pemberton said the crowd was somewhere in the region of 10,000.
He added: “We are well up on last year and people have been enjoying burgers and ice creams in the sunshine.
“It’s quite a distance so the jockeys and the horses need a drink afterwards, especially in this heat.

“Last year was a bit of a washout but this year the sunshine has brought the crowds back and people are having a great time, enjoying the racing and the catering from artesan producers.”
