POLICE are seeking witnesses to a suspected arson attack at a children's play area last night (Tuesday).
A fire crew from Wilmslow was called at 7.50pm to reports of a fire in a play area in Tame Walk, Wilmslow.
On arrival they found the fire involved a seesaw and rubber matting, and used a hose reel jet and buckets of water to extinguish the fire.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately, and anyone with information about the fire should call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 382702, give the details via cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
