A MUM and baby yoga teacher from Northwich is marking 10 years in business by raising funds for families grieving the loss of a baby.

Sarah Clover, founder of Northwich-based Breathing Space Yoga, is passionate about supporting the postnatal recovery of mums through gentle yoga practices, and was recently awarded the Lux Life Cheshire’s Best Mum & Baby Yoga Class Provider for 2023.

This week marks 10 years since she started holding classes in Northwich, and to celebrate, she's been holding a week of fundraising for stillborn and neonatal death charity, Sands, through her classes.

And to round off her week of fundraising today, Friday, Sarah is holding a celebratory Teddy Bears' Picnic at Cuddington and Sandiway Park for her yoga babies, their mums, friends, and families.

Sarah said: “I started in 2013 teaching mum and baby yoga classes, and I’ve been honoured to teach more than 600 babies and their parents over the last 10 years.

“It’s still a privilege to spend time each week with new parents and babies, supporting their well-being, their growing bond, and facilitating time for them to connect to other new parents and babies.

“But I know there have also been many families who have lost babies during pregnancy, birth, and afterwards, and it feels right to remember these little lights and to support their families and others in similar circumstances.

“A huge thank you to everyone who has come along to my classes over the past 10 years, and I look forward to meeting many more babies and parents over the next 10.”
