Willaston’s Rob Paine levelled by winning with a brace of 17 darters, only for wins by Patrick Lynskey and Aaron Ayres to put LMR 3-1 ahead, Lynskey winning in 15 and 19 darts and opponent Dave Owen chucking a 19 darter.

LMR’s Danny Ayres bombed a 16 darter, but had to give second best to Willaston’s Jamie Clorley who won with a couple of 18 darters.
