NANTWICH Town earned four points over a Bank Holiday weekend that saw them play two games in three days.

They needed a last minute equaliser from Harry Clayton to draw 2-2 with Barwell at Weaver Stadium on Monday after Clayton McDonald’s own goal looked like sending them to defeat.

Matt Bell had given Dabbers a first-half lead, which was cancelled out just before the break by Tom Bates.

The draw came 48 hours after Dave Cooke’s men had won 2-1 at Mickleover in a game they trailed at half time.

A Sean Cooke penalty had cancelled out Bradley Grayson’s early opener before Kaiman Anderson won it for Dabbers just before the hour mark.

Nantwich are in FA Cup action tomorrow, Friday, when they visit City of Liverpool FC, kick off 7.45pm.
