CREWE FC start their Cheshire Amateur Cup campaign this weekend.

The Cheshire League outfit head to Chester and Wirral Football League Premier Division side MBNA in the first round on Saturday.

They do so on the back of a 2-2 home draw with Rylands last Saturday.

Ian Carr and Nathan Southern bagged the goals.

Crewe came back from 1-0 down to be leading 2-1 in the late stages but a volley from James Daniel rescued a point for the unbeaten Warrington side.

The point leaves Crewe sixth, two points adrift of Ashton Town and Rylands, four behind third-placed Congleton.

Frontrunners Knutsford, who are four points ahead of Whaley Bridge Athletic, are 10 clear of Crewe FC.
