Hartford Tennis Club were too strong for neighbours Cuddington in the South and Mid Cheshire League's Spring Cup final at Chester Road on Sunday. They now look forward to the summer season starting next week
HARTFORD Tennis Club collected a piece of silverware after they triumphed in the South and Mid Cheshire League’s Spring Cup.
They defeated neighbours Cuddington by 6½-1½ in the final at Chester Road.
Captain Pete Makin selected Mark Gleave and Gary Makin, while James Barlow joined forces with Chris Baker in the decisive match.
The first combination won all four of their sets during a solid performance by the victors less than a fortnight before the start of the summer campaign.
